John is an experienced professional and business leader with a background in law enforcement and fire services. A graduate from Lexington High School, he is local to the midlands. He became a managing partner with Bear Trees in 2020 and currently serves as our Chief Operations Officer, overseeing day to day operations and management. John is extremely passionate about arboriculture and leadership. He currently resides near Gilbert, SC where he manages a 20 acre ranch with his family.
